Adjustment of Extension Ladders must be made by the user when standing at the base of the ladder so that proper engagement can be observed. Do not ever try to make an extension adjustment when anyone is standing on the ladder. It is the user’s responsibility to make sure the extension rope is tracking correctly in the pulley. Taking proper care of extension ladder is also very important. Always clean the climbing and gripping surfaces if they have been subjected to oil, grease or slippery materials. The overhang of the ladders beyond the support points of the rack should be minimized.
