Stretch Wrap

Stretch wrap is a common pallet packaging material used to protect products and shipments from damage during transit from dust, moisture, and tampering. Stretch wrap is typically used in fulfillment centers, loading docks, and storage facilities. Rolls of stretch wrap have a continuous length of plastic that is wrapped around the sides of the pallet or bundle. Dispensers hold the roll of stretch wrap and dispense it onto the pallet or bundle. Stretch wrap machines automatically turn and wrap pallets and bundles, and turntables rotate bundles while the stretch wrap is applied using a handheld applicator. Cutters have a recessed blade that cuts away stretch wrap quickly without the strapping jamming the cutter.
