The HCB ER14505 is a premium-grade 3.6V Lithium Thionyl Chloride (Li-SOCl?) primary battery designed to deliver long-lasting, stable, and highly reliable power for mission-critical industrial, commercial, and remote electronic applications. Built to the AA (14505) cylindrical form factor, this battery is engineered for exceptionally long operational life, making it one of the most widely used cells in smart metering, IoT devices, and low-power electronic systems that require uninterrupted performance over many years. With its high energy density and ultra-low self-discharge rate (typically less than 1% per year), the battery ensures dependable, maintenance-free operation for extended durations—often exceeding 8 to 12 years, depending on device usage and environmental conditions. The battery’s 3.6V nominal voltage remains stable over most of its lifespan, which is critical for devices that demand consistent performance, precise readings, and predictable power behavior. Engineered using Li-SOCl? chemistry, the ER14505 performs exceptionally well in extreme temperatures, with an operating range from ?55°C to +85°C, allowing it to function reliably in harsh industrial environments, outdoor installations, cold-chain systems, or high-heat infrastructure. Its hermetically sealed stainless-steel housing ensures robustness, leak resistance, and durability under vibration, shock, or corrosive atmospheres.
