The Kistenmacher Dual Plate Wafer Type Check Valve (EGK-VE-210-DN250) is a robust and space-efficient flow-control solution engineered to provide dependable backflow prevention and long-term performance in demanding industrial pipeline systems. Designed for a 10-inch (DN250) nominal bore and rated for PN16/1.6 MPa (16 bar) working pressure, this check valve is ideally suited for water supply networks, HVAC systems, fire protection lines, industrial process piping, and general utility services where reliable one-directional flow control is essential. At the core of this valve is its dual plate (double disc) design, which ensures rapid response to changes in flow direction. During normal forward flow, the two spring-assisted plates open smoothly, allowing fluid to pass with minimal pressure loss. When flow velocity drops or reverses, the integrated springs immediately force the plates to close, effectively preventing backflow. This fast and balanced closing action helps to reduce water hammer, vibration, and stress on pumps, pipes, and other downstream equipment, thereby enhancing overall system safety and longevity.
