Stanley Silver Block Plane Iron Cutter 0-12-504 has the blades made from extremely sturdy and durable carbon steel that provides you optimum edge retention. All cutters are fine rotary ground to give a flat surface that is easier to sharpen. The Block Plane Iron for 60.1/2g Plane are replacement iron blades. All Stanley replacement plane irons are made from chrome carbon steel for excellent edge retention.
40mm size, will fit block plane 12-020 and 12-220. Hardened, tempered high-carbon chrome steel assures excellent edge retention. Can be honed to a razor-sharp edge. Comes with accurate ground edge of 25Degree; finishing with an additional honed angle of 30Degree is recommended. Replacement irons (blades) are available for all Stanley block and specialist planes. Excellent edge retention characteristics and allows a razor sharp edge to be honed. Iron width : 34mm. Cutter Size : 1.3/8inch.
