Description
Stanley Black No.3 Baliey Smoothing Plane 1-12-003 is professional smoothing plane and is the General purpose bench plane for workshop, site or fine finishing. It has Chrome carbon steel cutter hardened and tampered to retain a keen cutting edge.
Kidney shaped lever cap screw hole prevents accidental slippage of cutter. Fully adjustable frog for all tasks and timber types. Virtually unbreakable polypropylene handle and knob shaped for comfort. Easy blade removal for sharpening and finger tip adjustment for depth of cut and cutter alignment. Tight fitting spring steel cap iron for perfect shaving flow. Professional fully adjustable metal plane with Simple and rapid adjustment mechanism. Precision cast fine grey iron base for stability and wear resistance. It is made form accurately machined fine grey iron castings. Designed for final finishing of cabinet and general joinery work. Black epoxy finish with plated parts and chrome carbon cutter enhance the attributes of this model. Cutter width is 45mm.
