Tangit UNi-LOCK Pipe Sealing Cord is a general-purpose sealant for threaded pipes. It is used for sealing threaded components (ISO 7-1) such as pipe couplings and fittings with tapered / cylindrical threads. The application range includes cold and hot water supply pipes (up to 130°C) as well as gas pipes. For optimal function, the thread should not be wound directly into the thread turns. The thread can be cut by means of the cutting device. Inside the container, the thread is wound up in a spiral and can therefore be easily pulled out and applied to the thread. It must be ensured that the product is wound up with tension.
