- Can be used on all kinds of magdrills like nitto, hougen, jancy, alfra, ruko; As well as drilling machine and electric drill in rotary mode and all kinds of drilling presses with all types of shank.
- It can be widely used in drilling steel, copper, aluminum, stainless steel and plastic, in either plate or pipe form.
- Annular cutters only cut material at the periphery of the hole, rather than converting the entire hole to shavings.
- Drilling requires staggering of bits to the final size - wasting time, not a problem with annular cutters.
- Annular cutters also have more cutting surfaces than drill bits.
- As a result the energy required to make the hole is lower than for a traditional twist drill meaning holes are made faster and the job is finished sooner.
