Especially for silicones - for the pre-treatment of non-absorbent surfaces such as aluminium, steel, VA steel, brass, copper, zinc, tinplate and enamel, ceramics and glass as well as plastics such as ABS, hard PVC, PA6.6, GRP and many more.

The surfaces to be treated must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease (e.g. Weicon Surface Cleaner).

Shake Weicon Primer well before use and apply thinly with a clean cloth. Observe flash-off times: Primer M 100 at least 10 min., Max. 24 hours, Primer K 200 at least 10 min., Max. 24 hours Primer S 300 at least 60 min., Max. 4 hours Primer P 400 at least. 10 min., Max. 1 hour Primer E 500 min. 60 min., Max. 8 hours. The subsequent application should be carried out within the given time span. Do not let it flash off too briefly. In the event of a longer storage period or intermittent soiling, clean or prime the adhesive surfaces again. A suitability and compatibility test is essential for unknown materials. • Clean the surface to be bonded again and re-apply the primer. For unknown material types it is necessary to test suitability and compatibility
• When unopened and stored in a normal climate (+23 Deg.C and 50 % rel. humidity), WEICON Primer has a shelf life of 9 - 12 months, depending on the type
