Description
Asmaco GOLD FIRE RETARDANT B2 FOAM with CFC Free Propellant. It's a ready to use, one-component, self expanding, fire retardant sealing foam based on 1k Polyurethane technology. It hardens at ambient temperatures to a low density mass by reacting with atmospheric moisture and on curing it exhibits excellent adhesion to wood, metals door/window frames, glass, painted surfaces, some plastics, concrete, plasters etc. Microcellular structure of the foam reveals a majority closed cell structure, hence cured foam is resistant to water absorption. It has excellent thermal insulation characteristics and can be used for insulating hot/cold water piping, refrigerating systems etc.
Typical Applications:
Shake can vigorously for one minute before use. If accept gun type, convert can and firmly screw gun on can, turn the flow adjustment screw and turn flow. If accept straw type, screw plastic straw on can firmly, aim straw at gap then spray. When spray please pay attention to the speed. Fill vertical joints from the bottom up when half filled enough. When fill gaps in ceiling, uncured foam may drop because of gravity, please support properly after filling until foam cure and adhere to the gap. Foam is tack free after about 10 minutes, can be cut after 60 minutes. Use a knife to smooth the cured foam and treated surface with cement, paint or silicone.
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces should be clean from oil, greases, loose particles and dust. Dry surface should be will sprayed or dampened with water.
Storage & Shelf Life:
12 months when stored at 20 Deg.C / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 500C. Do not pierce or burn even after use. Do not spray on naked flame or any incandescent materials. Keep out of reach of children.
